| La Pacifica, Guanacaste: At La Pacifica, a hotel in Guanacaste, we were able to study right on their property. The hotel covered several acres of land with hundreds of tree and srub species of our interest. In the background are the little haciendas that we stayed in. Late in the afternoon and at night we had the opportunity to enjoy La Pacifica swimming pool (By Heidi Hopper, June-July, 2001 group). |
